SHADOW PROFILE KRAAB GIPPS
Allows you to create ceilings with a unique design and aesthetics, thanks to the shadow gap and the perfect match of colors of plasterboard ceiling and walls. The shadow joint looks good both on flat wall surfaces and on tiles, decorative bricks, 3D panels and other materials that form an uneven wall surface. Ideal pairing of contrasting colors is achieved by indenting the edges of the ceiling from the walls, thus eliminating the need for painting work in the area where the ceiling meets the walls.

Description
In addition to aesthetics, the shadow gap has the function of a expansion joint, which helps maintain the appearance of the ceiling for years to come. Over time, cracks appear in the drywall ceiling. This is due to stresses on the ceiling associated with house shrinkage, changes in moisture characteristics, and other changes in the operation of the room. The expansion joint removes all loads from the drywall and takes them on itself.
The most common types of loads are related to linear expansions and geometric deviations. Linear expansion of plasterboard is a change in its length due to changes in temperature and humidity conditions. For every meter of drywall sheet length, there is an expansion of one millimeter.
