Description
Crack protection. The patented KRAAB SYSTEMS damper unit compensates for small structural deformations and prevents cracks where the ceiling meets the wall.
For a two-layer ceiling. KRAAB GIPPS 3-12 is designed for two plasterboard layers of 12.5 mm each. The profile finishes the ceiling-to-wall junction with a shadow gap and comes with a damper.
The damper reduces the transfer of deformations at the junction and lowers the risk of cracks across the ceiling plane.
When to choose KRAAB GIPPS 3-12. Sloping and attic ceilings: the profile suits structures with complex geometry. Joining with GIPPS VILLAR 2.0: the identical geometry of the visible sloped part simplifies connecting the shadow and floating profiles.
